Kathryn L. Wix Associate Kathryn (“Kate”) L. Wix is an Associate at The Wix Law Group, LLC.

Prior to joining The Wix Law Group, Kate worked for Wix, Wenger & Weidner, P.C., in Harrisburg, PA, first as a law clerk from May 2002 – August 2004 and then as an attorney from September 2004 through January 2008.

Kate has extensive trial experience in Pennsylvania state and federal courts, having participated in several trials to verdict. She has handled a wide range of matters, including insurance defense, subrogation, medical malpractice, construction, contract and municipal law. She is experienced in handling the day-to-day aspects of a full case load, including drafting motions, complaints and other pleadings, drafting, reviewing and summarizing discovery responses, conducting witness and expert depositions, negotiating and drafting releases, contracts and agreements and appearing in court on motions, pre-trial hearings and oral arguments. Kate is particularly skilled in researching complex legal issues and
writing briefs.

Kate obtained her J.D. in May 2004 from The Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, PA, where she was a participant in Junior Mock Court and Advocacy II Mock Trial. Kate graduated from The Pennsylvania State University (Harrisburg campus) in June 2001 with a B.A. Degree in Communications where she was on the Dean’s List and was a writer for The Capital Times.

Kate is licensed to practice in the State of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania and the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
